Aldo - a guide specialised in orchids on a national level

He has been a nature enthusiast since he was a child. Plants are his preferred field of study, because of which he chose to work as a biologist with specialization in plants. He has participated in various studies of biodiversity, in the northern parts of the country such as Miraflor-Moropotente, Cordillera de Dipilto-Jalapa, San José de Cusmapa and others. In all of them his participation was focused on the identification of orchids, although he has also acquired knowledge to identify other families of plants, including trees. In short, these botanical studies have helped him a lot. Thanks to them he also gathered experience in tourism. As a guide he enjoys sharing his enthusiasm about nature, conservation and sustainable development as well as the principles and rules involved. He likes conversation and makes friends easily with tourists. This makes his work more enjoyable and enables him to fulfill his objectives concerning conservation, protection and environmental education.
